Education & Qualifications
Following a successful fifteen-year career in the computer information and technology sector I made the decision to return to school and attend West Coast College of Massage Therapy, acclaimed to be the premiere massage therapy institution in North America and one of the finest in the World. WCCMT's exhaustive 3-year, 3,000-hour medical program covers all aspects of the BC-registered healthcare profession of Massage Therapy, including: general, regional and spinal orthopedics; musculoskeletal anatomy and kineisiology; general pathology; pain and stress management; as well as medical and business ethics.
Subsequent to my education at WCCMT, I undertook 1 additional year of studies at Thompson Rivers University, completing my Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) Degree. I hope in future to pursue my Masters Degree, perhaps in Occupational Sciences, however I have not yet decided that.
Currently practicing in North Vancouver, I believe that my past life experiences plus formal education together make me an effective therapist on both a clinical as well as interpersonal level.
